Izuhara castle town course
Experience the turbulent era in the history of Tsushima when lord Hideyoshi ordered to invade Korea!

【Highlights】
During the end of the 16th century, Toyotomi Hideyoshi ordered all feudal lords across the nation to send troops to Korea. Until then, Tsushima had a good relationship with Korea through trade and interchange. However, the war cause Tsushima to lose all their trust with Korea. Soh Yoshitoshi, who was the lord of Tsushima domain, worked years to restore diplomatic relations with Korea. Their efforts were rewarded when they welcomed the envoys to Japan. This course walks through the former castle town, Izuhara and visits various historical sites.

Northern Tsushima course
In northern Tsushima, see the night views of the city of Busan Korea across the sea.

【Highlights】
Tsushima is only 49.5 km away from Busan, South Korea, and the proximity is palpable when in the northern part of Tsushima. To visit up north, take a taxi, a rental car, or a bus from Izuhara port of Tsushima airport and drive north on route 382 for about two hours. From Hakata, Fukuoka, take the ferry to Hitakatsu port. There are taxis up north as well.
